Happy 2022. New year, new possibilities. Enjoy!
It was a ritual for anyone traveling to Israel in the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s — even on through the ’80s. No sooner had one’s feet touched the tarmac of what was then called Lod Airport, then those very same feet trotted straight to 185 Dizengoff Street to buy Nimrod sandals.

Temperatures in Whitehorse, Yukon in Canada reached minus 30 degrees this winter but the frigid weather didn't deter bathers at the Takhini Hot Springs from having some frosty fun. In February, participants showed off their crazy, frozen hairstyles for the resort's International Hair Freezing Contest.

WACKY HAIRDOS WIN AT HAIR FREEZING CONTEST IN CHILLY CANADA
The bathers and participants of the contest soaked in water at 40 degrees Celsius—but it was actually minus 30 above water. According to the resort's website, freezing one's hair takes only minutes (as long as it's minus 30 or colder). Located in Yukon’s Boreal Forest, 25 minutes northwest of Whitehorse, Takhini Hot Springs flows out of the Earth’s interior at 385 litres (86 gallons) per minute and 47 degrees Celsius (118 degrees Fahrenheit) year-round.
Takhini Hot Springs has a long history in the Yukon. Used by the First Nations People for centuries, the site was known for natural hot water flowing from the ground. In 1907 it was commercially promoted for its therapeutic value. The first pool was made of wood and canvas and was built in the 1940s for the use of the United States Army while they constructed the Alaska Highway, according to the resort's website. Are you ready for the new contest?
The biggest rodent in the world, the semi-aquatic capybara spends most of its time grazing or swimming in the nearest body of water. You thought the beaver was a rodent of unusual size? The capybara is twice that big—the biggest rodent on Earth. These impressive semi-aquatic mammals are found throughout much of northern and central South America, though a small invasive population has been seen in Florida. They’re closely related to guinea pigs and rock cavies, and more distantly related to chinchillas and agouti. Anyway, these animals has a real power to inspire people to create weird designs for every situation. Do you agree?

When you consider how far manicure technology has come in the 21st century, it's no wonder that nails are such a ubiquitous obsession among beauty lovers. We were once limited to traditional nail polish with icky ingredients, precarious press-ons, and bulky acrylic tips. Now, not only has nail polish cleaned up its act, but press-ons actually stay on, there are custom-fitted decals and wraps, acrylics have come leaps and bounds, and there are numerous other in-salon options for enhancing one's nails. Today, we present the last innovation “Extendables Nails”

When it comes to footwear there is one thing we can’t stand wearing and that is flip-flops. Also called jandles, go-aheads, slappies, slides and step-ins people call them all sorts of things, but we only call them one….pointless! But are we being too harsh? A lot of people wear them around the house instead of slippers, as for the fact that we don’t have any slippers maybe we should try a pair of flip-flops instead, but which ones…

Contrary to popular belief, unconventional car doors are not the exclusive domain of exotic sports cars and expensive supercars. Unique and unusual doors can be found in almost every class of automobiles, and some of the most fascinating provide driver and passenger access on super economy cars and vehicles few people would recognize. RICE, RICE BABY
The bags come in a wide range of designs, with some shaped like a baby wrapped in a blanket so that relatives can feel as though they are hugging the new arrival while looking at a picture of their face, which is attached to the front.
The amount of rice in the bag is matched to the newborn’s birth weight and the price increases in parallel with the size of the baby. Some firms charge one yen a gram, with a 3.5kg pack priced 3,500 yen (U$S32).
The Artwear bible, this big glossy coffee table book was published in 1986, written by Julie Schafler Dale, an instrumental supporter of the art wear scene and owner of Julie: Artisans Gallery in New York which carried much of the one-of-kind and limited run pieces. This is an essential book to have in any fiber art collection. Unlike many other fiber books, this one is a heavy large hardcover with big, crisp photos of each piece and nearly every turn filled with page-sized photography. As much as adore the 70s era fiber books, it is really hard to see the details of the pieces due to the page texture and often grainy photos. This book brings an 80s glossy and minimal fashion spread approach to pieces of an older era which is refreshing to see for a reader who likes to analyze the details of the pieces.

UNUSUAL CARS
Barbecue or barbeque (informally BBQ in the UK and US, barbie in Australia and braai in South Africa) is a term used with significant regional and national variations to describe various cooking methods which use live fire and smoke to cook the food. The term is also generally applied to the devices associated with those methods, the broader cuisines that these methods produce, and the meals or gatherings at which this style of food is cooked and served. The cooking methods associated with barbecuing vary significantly but most involve outdoor cooking. The various regional variations of barbecue can be broadly categorized into those methods which use direct or indirect heating. This method can really be an alternative for indirect heating technique.

Much of the last year has been a tough time to keep fit and strong, with the gyms closed for long stretches, so plenty of people out there could well face a long road back to being shredded. But if you want to look like you've given your body an upgrade without all the stress and hassle of actually working out, or putting yourself through expensive surgical processes, you could always opt for a suit that will make you look ripped.

SUPER REALISTIC SILICONE MUSCLE BODYSUITS
Taobao is one of many retailers who sell SMITIZEN'S half- and full-body suits to give the appearance of being hench AF, and theirs are made from 100 percent medical-grade silicone.
You can buy an upper body, lower body or full body cast depending on what you want to show off. If you haven't skipped leg day since high school but want your chest and arms to look massively pumped, then just opt for the upper body suit. But if you're keen to show off those pins and don't mind getting a little sweaty, then you could always go for the full body and let the good times roll.
Anyone who has worn something tight on their body on a hot day will know how sweaty things can get, so as long as you don't care about things getting a little moist, then you should be sweet. But the quick and easy method of getting ripped doesn't come cheap.
A retailer on eBay is selling a half-body suit that doesn't even include bulging biceps and tantalising triceps for nearly U$S 220. That's a lot of cash, but if you think about the time and money that goes into a gym routine and membership, then maybe it's worth it...?
On the other hand, you could always just return to the gyms now that they're open once more. It's really up to you.
Fashion can be funny sometimes and this list of fashion pieces surely amazes.

“ANTI” MASK
While there are multiple studies and ample proof to show that wearing mask is a necessity not only for your personal safety, but as a larger civic duty to keep others safe, the anti-maskers have been deliberately going to public places sans face covers just to annoy or prove that they know better. Most of these places have to turn down the customer/visitor with polite requests which can sometimes get rather heated.
Whether as a parody of such people or simply as cruel prank, a man ordered custom face mask to deceive people. The mask has lower half of his face printed on it, and looks like there is a disposable mask that he has adjusted to his chin. (Something a lot of people do willingly/unknowingly and is a very unsafe way of using masks).

NOODLES GUITAR
The ingenious electric guitar build starts with 36 packs of uncooked ramen noodle bricks, which are treated with five liters of polyester resin to form a hard, glass-like structure.
Mayer then cuts and sands a Strat-like body out of the hardened material (he even sprinkles in the ramen’s flavor packets to add some sparkle to the finish).
Next, he attaches a maple neck, pops in some electronics – including a Babicz tremolo and a set of Fokin pickups – and, voila! We have the world’s first and only ramen noodle guitar. A unique, one-of-a-kind guitar with an exotic look, made exclusively for the NAMM MusicMesse Russia 2019 exhibition.
This guitar is made of Ramen Noodles by Artem Mayer at Copper Guitars. 36 packs of instant noodles, 5 liters (~170 oz) of polyester resin, a piece of maple and top furniture form a stunning guitar that looks like a piece of glass!
A nose warmer isn’t something that one sees nearly as often as a face mask, ski-mask or other face protection in cold weather. It’s basically just a knit (or sometimes fabric) component which straps over the nose, protecting it from numbness and reddening in extreme cold.

WHAT IS A NOSE WARMER?
These aren’t new, as in many cultures where extreme cold is commonplace, nose warmers are a common thing. However, in many modern cultures, they are less popular because to anyone from a culture where these haven’t long been commonplace, it can be perceived to be a bit “silly”. However, with their growth in popularity among younger generations which adore anything knit, this sentiment is more common among older people simply unaccustomed to seeing them.

ZENTAI CULTURE - WEARING SKIN TIGHT SUITS IN PUBLIC
This skin tight suits that cover the entire body are commonly called zentai (from the Japanese ゼンタイ). This is either a contraction of zenshin taitsu (全身タイツ) ("full-body tights") or a direct translation of "full body" (全体 zentai). But to most outsiders, zentai means exactly what it looks like: spandex body suits.
Zentai is most commonly made using nylon/spandex blends, but other materials such as cotton and wool are used as well. Such suits were first developed for use in modern dance, but are now used in the arts to diminish the presence of an actor in a scene. In fact, in the traditional Japanese art of puppetry called bunraku the apprentice performers are completely covered in black garments against a black background to produce the same effect. Zentai is also used by artists as a medium to accentuate the body, sometimes making use of vibrant patterns. By making the performer anonymous, the performance of the body itself becomes the focus.

While growing out a beard or a moustache, most men have committed some mistakes. But, when a particular style in your head is ruined, it can lead to some really funny results.
However, what happens when you take those mistakes into your stride and create something totally different?
We found the prime examples of how some men turned their style mistakes into real art and transformed their beard and moustache into outrageous, funny experiments. Take a look below to have a good laugh....and maybe some inspiration?
Why do these things that look sad, well, look sad? Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon where we take a stimuli, usually an every day object, and our mind interprets patterns or assigns a human like face to it. You’ve seen this any time you look at a chair, or a house, and see three holes and go: “that sure looks like a smiling face, doesn’t it honey?” and your wife goes, “not now Robert, I’m just trying to relax,” so you draw a funny picture of the chair or house face to give to her later when she’s less grumpy. You’re a great husband.

ASTLEY PRIME MINISTER
Popcorn starts popping out of the stereo. By the end of the song, the occupants of the house are drowning in popcorn. Yellow clouds of popcorn rumble down the stairs and fill up the road. 'Never Gonna Give You Up' was jaunty enough to inspire such visions without having to ingest hallucinogens. Purists hated its excessive cheer and naïve promise of ideal romance (Astley practiced what he preached. He has been married to his wife Lene for over 20 years). Many also pretended to hate it out of peer pressure. 'Never Gonna…' was loved and loathed. But it was successful. It topped the charts in 25 countries and outsold The Rolling Stones in 1987. You can’t have those numbers without some merit. Astley, just 21 at the time, became a wealthy celebrity. Remember that in this elections “He will never give you up”

FoMO
Technology is designed to utilise the basic human need to feel a sense of belonging and connection with others. So, FoMO is at the heart of many features of internet design.
Digital technologies, such as social networks, online shopping, and games, use a set of persuasive and motivational techniques to keep users returning. These include “scarcity” (a snap or status is only temporarily available, encouraging you to get online quickly); “social proof” (20,000 users retweeted an article so you should go online and read it); “personalisation” (your news feed is designed to filter and display news based on your interest); and “reciprocity” (invite more friends to get extra points, and once your friends are part of the network it becomes much more difficult for you or them to leave).
These COVID-19 times can be weird and stressful. Take solace in what you love and share it with your family. Maybe this invention can help you or maybe is too much. The answer Is up to you.
